Negroni
- An Italian pastime, made of one part gin, one part vermouth rosso and one part Campari, garnished with orange peel. It is considered an aperitivo. Stirred not shaken.
Gimlet
- Gin and juice. A 1928 description of the drink was: gin, and a spot of lime. In this case, fresh lime juice, a lemon verbena syrup and salt.
Old Fashioned
- Muddled sugar, honey, bitters and whiskey, garnished with orange zest. Old faithful.
